Frequently asked questions

How do you eat when you stay in a B&B?

As stipulated in the rules and regulations, you cannot eat on site. However, we have prepared a list of restaurants in the area, which you can find on our website www.ben-et-nad.com in the ” BEN & NAD’S DIARY ” section. We recommend that you make reservations at these restaurants, as they are very busy during the tourist season.

Do you have parking?

We have reserved parking for our B&B guests right in front of the house (maximum 2 vehicles/stay).

Is there wifi in the guest rooms?

Wifi is available in our guest rooms, you will find the code displayed in each of your rooms.

Do guest rooms have private bathrooms?

There’s a private bathroom and toilet upstairs, where your bedrooms are located.

Are the bedrooms upstairs?

The bedrooms are on the first floor, accessible via a staircase on the ground floor.

Do the rooms have a terrace?

Rooms do not have terraces.

Are the bedrooms in the owner’s house?

The principle of bed and breakfast is to stay with local people. The bedrooms are on the 1st floor, with the owners on the ground floor.

Are the rooms suitable for families?

Yes, of course. You’ve got the whole floor to yourselves. You can ask for a cot to be added, and there are games and books to enjoy with your children.

Are guest rooms suitable for people with reduced mobility?

No, not at the moment. It’s a future project.

Are pets allowed in guest rooms?

As stipulated in the house rules, pets are not allowed in our guest rooms.

Is there TV in the rooms?

No, because SACEM demands rights on televisions and loudspeakers in rentals. So we decided not to put any in our guest rooms.

Is there a coffee maker or kettle in the rooms?

A kettle is available in the bathroom. A welcome tray with tea, instant coffee and herbal teas is also available in your room.

Is there a swimming area nearby?

You are welcome to use our swimming pool(see pool rules). There is also a municipal swimming pool in Mortagne/Sèvre (10 km) and Cholet (20 km). You’re also just 45 minutes from the beaches of Vendée.

What time can we arrive?

Times depend on your rental period. For further information on this subject, please refer to our internal regulations.

Why is it better to book directly with the owner?

Are you open at the moment?

We’re open practically all year round. The tourist season runs from March to October.

Can I recharge my electric vehicle?

Yes, it’s possible, but only on request and at our electric terminal. Additional charges will be added to your bill during your stay. Rates will be discussed with you during your stay(see internal regulations).
